What visitors are missing
Spark Search uses its own index instead of slow database queries on your posts and products. This means suggestions appear as someone is typing:
products, categories, brands and articles, even when the search term contains a typo.

What makes Spark Search unique

Four things that together show why searching here feels faster and smarter.

Custom search index

Title, SKU (including variants), brand, category and tags are stored in separate, normalized tables. No slow LIKE-queries on wp_posts and wp_postmeta.

Live suggestions

Results appear as you type, word by word. A lightweight vanilla JS bundle of about 9 KB, without jQuery, with debounce and cancellation of outdated requests.

Webshop and blog

Choose whether you search products, content or both. Without WooCommerce, Spark Search simply searches your posts and pages.

Works anywhere

Place the search bar with a shortcode, block or widget, or connect your existing search bar. Works with Breakdance, Divi and Elementor.
Core feature 1

Typos, synonyms and pins: the right match on top

Visitors don't always call things the way you name them in your catalog. Spark Search catches that and lets you decide what appears on top.

Fuzzy second round

If a search term finds nothing, a second round follows that tolerates typos: 'winterspot' will still find 'wintersport'.

Synonyms

Create groups like “sofa, couch, settee” or one-way rules like “tv => television”. They are applied while indexing.

Pins and customer service rules

Pin products to the top for a search term, with a 'Recommended' badge. Link search terms like 'return' to the right page.
Working with Spark Speed or another cache plugin? Spark Search works right along: the critical style rules are also inline in the page, so CSS optimization can't strip them out.
Core feature 2

Insight into what visitors search for

See which terms are searched, how often and with how many results. In the table with searches with no results, add a synonym or customer service rule per term with one click.
Statistics

Search analytics without tracking

Search queries over time, clicks, terms with no results and typo corrections. Without IP addresses, user IDs or cookies, and can be turned off if you want.
Smart

Popular search terms based on clicks

Only terms where visitors actually clicked a result count. Partial words typed along the way and searches without results never make it in.
Also in Divi 5: Spark Search takes over the search results page, including the Loop Builder, so the server and browser display the same matches.

Peace of mind and privacy as a foundation

Everything runs on your own site. Four principles keep it that way.

No external service

Searching happens in your own database. No search data goes to third parties.

Always a fresh index

Changes to products and posts automatically appear in the index, and you can always manually reindex.

Nothing gets locked

The license provides updates. Without a license, Spark Search continues to work.

Light on the page

About 9 KB of vanilla JS and no jQuery, so the search bar won't slow down your loading time.

One search plugin, every site
