1. What are cookies?

We distinguish four cookie categories. Only the necessary category is enabled by default; for the other categories, we ask for explicit consent via the cookie banner.
Essential
Required for basic functionality: sessions, security and remembering your cookie preference itself. Always on.
Functional
Remember preferences such as language, collapsed panel state and completed forms. Without these cookies certain comfort features won't be retained.
Statistics
Anonymized data points to understand how the site is used and how it performs, so we can make improvements.
Marketing
Cookies that help us recognize visitors on other sites and measure targeted campaigns. Only active after explicit consent.

4. Retention periods
Retention periods are listed with each cookie in the overview above. Session cookies disappear as soon as you close your browser; persistent cookies have an explicit expiration date.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to refuse or withdraw consent, to access the data collected about you, to rectification, to deletion, and to object. More details are in our privacy policy.
6. Changing preferences
You can adjust your choices at any time using the cookie icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. This opens the preferences window again, where you can enable or disable categories. You can also delete cookies through your browser; note that some features may not work as well temporarily as a result.
